@alexagraceface@BrittGratreak You are worthy and deserve good things, no flawed system will ever change that. Please take time to care for yourself, you matter.

People living with highly-stigmatized genital psoriasis now have evidence supporting the effectiveness of a current treatment option. Apremilast (Otezla), an oral medication approved by the FDA, has shown encouraging findings!

@BRaySociologist Thanks to you and your research team for excellent and important work👏👏👏 looking forward to results from other cities.
Would be interested to know if people treated with naloxone were more likely to report use from new/different vs regular source before vs after major seizure
@JonathanShedler The problem I see is “as WE heal YOUR life together.” ICK. Condescending, inappropriate, demeaning—not high quality therapy. Only the client can heal themselves (if they need healing). Therapists are there to support (sometimes by challenging) client on their journey to cope/heal
@JonathanShedler Not a therapist. Have benefitted from having high quality therapy and have also suffered some low quality therapy. I don’t think saying “your therapist, coach, mentor” is the problem. That’s just trying to connect we people who may not be keen on therapy—it’s marketing 1/2
Gentle reminder that the autistic woman you're projecting all of your insecurities onto (she hates me, she's stuck up, she thinks she's better than all of us, she's self-obsessed, she's rude) is actually just trying to stay alive and survive social situations.
The more you know.
Continuing our 🏳️🌈🧠train for National Migraine & Headache Awareness Month & LGBTQ+ Pride Month by passing the 🎙️ to the #migraine community from #BIPOC & #LGBTQ+ communities. We asked Kevin @onlylight210 on why representation matters to him #MHAM#PrideMonth
@DrZedZha I loose faith as soon as I realize they are not comfortable saying that and test all new providers by asking them to explain how something I know they’re unlikely to know works. One of the few times my esoteric biology knowledge remains helpful😉
Thank you to the #AmericanAirlines personnel who are still somehow managing to load bags onto this plane after a coworker died horribly on the job today at #AUS I appreciate you still getting me home to my kiddos. Sending you all love and best wishes for healing from this trauma
@13Firecracker13@guyfelicella With great respect for you and the care you have for your best friend, the role of safe consumption sites is to keep people alive and free of wounds and infections. Recovering from SUD requires self motivation, so if your loved one isnt ready, no recovery program will be enough❤️
@GhanaboyPharmd Dead on! Wehave zero data on how many people with substance use disorder relapse after forced abstinence through imprisonment because those voices are not heard, people who were institutionalized for any reason are not cared for after release. Punishment does not = treatment
