The police are investigating a hate crime after an elderly woman with cerebral palsy was subjected to ‘appalling’ abuse in a lift. The man that police are looking for also reportedly made a derogatory comment about the 72 year-old woman’s disability.

I guess I was lucky.
Woke up with a terrible pain when breathing.
Emergency ambulance came. Only had to wait 30 mins for a bed in A&E.
CT scan revealed perforated Gallbladder.
Six staff shortages on my ward and very low morale.
Was bumped several times for scans

No, Liz Truss, younger people on benefits aren’t more able to “adjust” to cuts than pensioners. Disabled people who are in too much pain to get out of bed are no more able to find a job than an 80 year old - and they shouldn’t have to. Divisive and deceitful.
