- Wat is de definitie van het legale concept 'vrouw'? Correspondeert dat met iets in de realiteit of is dat gewoon een categorie waar iedereen zichzelf in kan identificeren om de rechten van die categorie te verwerven (die by the way lang geleden werden opgesteld voor biologische vrouwen)? Het antwoord is natuurlijk het laatste, maar ik wil van u toch horen waarnaar de legale categorie 'vrouw' volgens u dient te verwijzen als die niet samenvalt met de biologische definitie.
- Waarom denkt u dat transvrouwen equivalent zijn aan onvruchtbare en postmenopausale vrouwen? Ik denk dat u genoeg van ontwikkelingsbiologie begrijpt om te weten dat onvruchtbare vrouwen biologisch nog steeds vrouwen zijn, en 'transvrouwen' biologisch mannen zijn. Waarom die drogredenering?
- Als u mijn stukje gelezen had, dan zou u weten dat ik Hume’s guillotine in twee richtingen verdedig: biologie is niet normatief voor maatschappelijke spelregels, maar wat geslacht betekent kan niet overschreven worden door wensdenken.

Seriously? The whole of wealthy, modern, and educated Europe is so pathetically weak (morally and psychologically) that it cannot defend itself — and *relies* on an eviscerated Ukraine (that is the most corrupt nation in all of Europe) for its security?

With all due respect to European leaders, it’s time to wake up and take responsibility for your own countries and collective security. The day u RELY on the likes of Zelensky for your future is the day you tie yourself to a sinking ship.

To be clear, don’t return to my country for security either. World War 2 is long over. The Cold War is long over. Stop living in the past. Chart a new path into a new future.

One outcome is that the peace movement looks very different from the human rights one: the latter has a few global juggernaut-type orgs, a lot of lawyers, PMC types, elite venues etc. The former is scrappy, largely volunteer-driven, featuring the very old, very young and unions.

Apparently, Poland's MiG-29s weren't good enough either: according to Onet, Ukraine reportedly considered the aircraft to be in too poor a condition and expected Poland to pay (!) for their overhaul and modernization before handing them over.
