DETECTIVES SEIZE SIGNIFICANT HAUL OF CANNABIS IN LANGโATA
A team of detectives drawn from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) at DCI Headquarters has recovered a substantial stash of cannabis sativa from a house in Langโata.
The operation unfolded after intelligence revealed the involvement of individuals in the drug trafficking trade in the said area. Acting swiftly, detectives raided Maasai Estate along Kitengela Road in Nairobi County.
Upon arrival, officers knocked on the gate, only to be met by a male suspect, who initially seemed cooperative. However, in a desperate bid to escape, he feigned a search for the keys and made a run for it through a back window, evading capture. Moments later, a female suspect opened the gate.
Once inside, a thorough search led to the recovery of seven greenish sacks stuffed with cannabis sativa tucked away in the servant quarters, alongside two weighing scales and a roll of yellow cellotape.
From the main house, detectives recovered two carton boxes brimming with Rizla rolling papers, a mobile phone, and a cache of assorted documents, all pointing to a sophisticated operation.
The seized items have been taken to the DCI Headquarters exhibits store for safe custody, while the hunt intensifies for the elusive suspect who managed to slip away.

ANU DETECTIVES NAB TWO, SEIZE 250KG OF CANNABIS IN MOMBASA
Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) Mombasa have arrested two traffickers and seized 250 kilograms of cannabis sativa.
Acting on credible tips, the detectives descended on 43-year-old Tito Paul Mulu in Port Reitz area of Changamwe. Muluโs arrest unravelled a tangled web, leading officers directly to his accomplice, 23-year-old Oliver Ochieng, in Mudengereni area of Kisauni.
Upon interrogation, Ochieng led detectives to his rented house. It was there that detectives uncovered two sacks, brimming with cannabis sativa.
Now, with the suspects behind bars, awaiting their day in court, the seized cannabis stands locked up as crucial exhibits.
This operation underscores ANUโs commitment to smoke out traffickers and dismantle drug networks, ensuring our communities remain safe from the grip of narcotics.

170KGS OF BHANG SEIZED AS POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN LIKONI
Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) in Mombasa, alongside officers from the Shelly Beach Police Station, have apprehended a notorious drug trafficker, seizing 170 kilograms of bhang in the process.
Acting on intelligence, the officers executed a well-planned raid in Tonge Nyama area, targeting a seemingly innocuous one-room rental house that was anything but ordinary.
As they sifted through the premises, the officers uncovered large rolls of bhang concealed in two sacks and two Nigerian carrier bags, painting a vivid picture of the illicit trade lurking just beneath the surface.
The suspect, 34-year-old Victor Ochanda Okuku, found himself in a web of his own making as he was swiftly taken into custody. He is currently undergoing processing pending arraignment. Meanwhile, the recovered narcotics are safely secured as exhibits.
