My mother is a resident of an Alzheimer/ dementia facility. We had a lovely lunch with her yesterday. We choose to remember my mother when she was younger and had all of her faculties. She is a mere shadow of her former self. But that is just life. She was very protective and a proud mama bear. Life is not always roses but we can control the good memories. That’s why I always say write your good memories and happiness in stone and sadness in the sand. EB
