Expect a lot of hype from LION UP Recovery - on National Recovery Month. SELU was the first Louisiana institution to host collegiate recovery! We are lucky to have administration that supports our students in recovery! @oursoutheastern#RecoveryMonth2025
Delighted to host Spring Gratitude night! We also honored our 9 scholarship recipients. Additionally, we heard a message of hope and resilience from Bryan and Ryan. We were fortunate to host our donors, faculty and staff this year. Thank you!!! #oursoutheastern#lionuprecovery

We proudly join campuses and organizations in recognizing today as #CollegiateRecoveryDay.
We take a moment to celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of students in recovery—and the programs that support them through graduation and into Louisiana’s workforce.
Excited to host "Sleeping to Succeed: Managing Stress and Mental Health Through Better Sleep" with Nursing Student, Lillie Pierson. Thank you Lillie! We sure appreciate learning about getting better rest! #lionuprecovery#collegiaterecoveryweek
Super excited to see our billboards up and running on Highland Road and Perkins Road in Baton Rouge. It's fun to be a part of the culture change of recovery in higher education by being a resource for those student seeking recovery and in recovery on college campuses in Louisiana
LION UP Recovery was established fall of 2019 at Southeastern Louisiana University. We are the first higher education institution in Louisiana to host support for students who identify as in recovery and those students who are sober curious. @oursoutheastern
Last year @Annette14708792 & I spoke about a student who recently had an on-campus overdose & was saved by Narcan.
How the @oursoutheastern community rallied around that student was NOTHING short of AMAZING.
In about a month, that student will pick up her 1-year sober chip. 🥹
