@finebaum Losing Gene Barton at Memphis State as a coach and even more so as a person. He is still revered at the
University of Memphis. RIP, Coach.

@MickeyRyan1045 Have been wondering how to get in touch with you….listened to you daily and I only spoke once on air, but we seem to have mutual acquaintances in
professional and college sports, Memphis and Arkansas State.
All the best and hope to chat.

@The_DocHolliday Oh, that’s great for the Tigers vs Vols ongoing dislike and I’m a Tiger Class of 1974, But I hope Knecht does well even though he’s with those Lakers… not my favorite team.

@BarackObama Thank you, Mr. President. I was a junior at
Memphis State University the spring of 1973 and at the 1973 NCAA Men's National Championship game in St, Louis where Bill hit 21 of 22 shots for 44 points defeating my beloved Memphis Tigers. Bill is respected by Tiger fans.
@Greg_Gaston I’m a Memphis alum (Memphis State 1974) and noticed
when we played Wichita State, The Shockers had
towels with ‘Fear the Wheat’. Pretty funny😎😂
@Greg_Gaston Yes, I follow everything from Maryland as I lived in Solomons Island, Maryland, at the southern tip of Calvert Co., about 40 miles south of Annapolis and DC, right on the Chesapeake Bay from 2006-15.
Loved it there. That’s where I first saw the ‘Fear the Turtle’ reference.
