@Odrinhereboy @JoeIorio24 @gb_lukee I would argue that Cody's attitude still remains puzzling even with the inhibitor chip, bc we see Rex struggling to obey the order to kill Ahsoka. Imho in all logic he should have acted like Cody, no hesitation. I think it was a mistake to show Rex act more humanly than Cody.

@Odrinhereboy This exactly. I mean some people do but it's widely criticized, especially for the misogynistic treatment of the female characters. While a movie pokes fun at a male character's sexuality and it's "😂 so funny!" because it's alright to mock a guy's virginity, apparently.

It's interesting how there's a consensus that a joke about a certain male superhero's virginity is absolutely hilarious, while if the situations was reversed, with a male protagonist joking about a female superhero's virginity in a similar movie, the outrage would be HUGE! 🔥

@Odrinhereboy Everything in season 8 pretty much annoyed me especially its treatment of female characters (GoT was never a feminist manifesto but season 8 was the worst I think), but yeah, me too. But I doubt that the joke would have flown so well if Steve had been a woman.
