WE WILL NOT BE SILENT
A Celebration of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
There comes a time when silence becomes ingratitude.
There comes a time when honour becomes a sacred duty.
There comes a time when sons and daughters must rise to celebrate the gifts that God has given to a generation.
This is such a time.
We refuse to be silent while men and women of eternal significance are reduced to headlines, controversies, and social media trends.
We refuse to stand by while those who have sacrificed decades in service to God and humanity are casually criticized by people who have built nothing, fathered nobody, planted no churches, and transformed no nations.
The sons and daughters of prophets must never be silent while cheap publicity seekers use great men as instruments for attention.
A generation that does not honour its fathers has no future.
A people who cannot recognize greatness in their midst will eventually suffer the tragedy of its absence.
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not merely a church leader.
He is not merely a denomination head.
He is not merely a respected minister.
He is one of the most significant Christian leaders of our generation and one of the greatest spiritual gifts God has given to Africa and the global Church.
We should never allow a man who chose humility to become the chewing stick of the uninformed.
We should never permit the noise of critics to drown out the voice of history.
We should never watch while modern-day Sauls seek to intimidate, discredit, or silence God's servants.
Scripture records how King Saul pursued David.
Scripture records how Doeg the Edomite became an instrument of destruction against the priests of God.
Throughout history, political power has often sought to suppress prophetic voices.
Yet God has always preserved His servants and vindicated His purpose.
The Church must never become indifferent when its fathers are unfairly attacked.
Nor should we wait until our prophets cross into eternity before we begin to celebrate them.
Too often, flowers are sent to funerals when they should have been delivered while the recipient was still alive.
The trauma that Nigerians continue to endure is profound. Currently, 46 children and their teachers remain in the hands of their kidnappers, with one teacher already dead. The unimaginable plight of these individuals is a source of extreme distress for their families.

David is a youth with Cerebral Malaria. Cerebral Malaria is caused by parasite-infected red blood cells blocking brain capillaries, causing seizures, leading to brain swelling, and can lead to long-term cognitive or motor impairment.
As his mother shared, despite his condition, he is a social person who loves people and loves singing and drumming. Recently, David fell from their balcony, which made is situation grow worse.
David started therapy and has been trying to go to school even in his condition.
He needs a wheelchair, more funding for physiotherapy, and surgery.

DECISIONS: LET ME DRAG THIS MY COLLEAGUE!... SOFTLY
... BECAUSE WE AGRE BOUND BY HIPPOCRATIC OATH
A Tough Decision, A Surprising Outcome: A Message About PCOS, Fertility, and Choices
Dear Colleague,
I hear the fatigue in your story, and I hear the tenderness too, and I hear the quiet fear that hides behind clinical language. Because when love meets uncertainty, it does not wear a lab coat; it wears anxiety. You made a decision, and it was heavy, and it was human. And yet, as doctors, we must ask ourselves what we are truly afraid of illness, or the stories we have told ourselves about illness. Because sometimes, we do not leave because the road is impossible, but because we imagine it will be.
And then there is PCOS, that small cluster of letters that society has turned into a sentence of doom. Yet medicine, stubborn and hopeful, tells another story. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists reminds us that women with PCOS are not barren lands; they are complex terrains. Many will conceive naturally, and others with help, and most with time, and some with all three. But certainty does not belong to any womb, not the “normal” one and not the “polycystic” one. Fertility is not a promise; it is a conversation between biology and patience, and sometimes prayer, and often science.
So yes, your choice was honest, and honesty is a form of courage. But let us also be honest about what this moment teaches us. PCOS does not cancel womanhood, and it does not evict motherhood. It only asks for strategy. It asks for kindness. It asks for doctors who refuse lazy conclusions. And so I will gently scold you or maybe drag you, because you are my colleague and therefore my responsibility, and because medicine must never be afraid of nuance. The myth that PCOS equals infertility must die quietly, like all tired myths do.
And to the women who carry this diagnosis like a scarlet letter, know this: you are not broken, and you are not behind, and you are not a medical tragedy. You are a story still being written. The mold you were told you must fit into is old, and cracked, and unnecessary. Your body is not a failure; it is a negotiation. And negotiations, when handled with care, often end in victory.
So let us say this clearly, and let us say it loudly: statistics are guides, not gods. Choices are valid, but assumptions are dangerous. And love, whether for a patient or a partner, must be informed, not frightened. Because when we confuse diagnosis with destiny, we do more than misread science; we betray hope.
