Annie

nothing serious here

[Annie @Annie74926]

@burntbluew I like it bc my guilty pleasure is to read fanfic about show/movie/book I have never read or watch when it has the right tag. So I always appreciate it when they give me enough context

[Annie @Annie74926]

@ava_marie_v @hammerandhex @Hiltomi See how your nasty ass did not reply to it ? Doing anything to defend your shitty fandom to the point of spreading misinformation and accusing people of lying about the racism in your space

[Annie @Annie74926]

@ascehole @StormwindZakuro @sxmeoneuknow @divinedeparts I agree with everything but it’s not canon. What canon is they had something but Oda clearly did not think of it as rape otherwise he wouldn’t be saying « the land of passion ». Oda misogyny ass writing stop him from even realizing any viola/dofla relationship is fucked

[Annie @Annie74926]

@swordnlotus But again some switch truther do tend to use it to portray the character are competitive and how whoever lose has to bottom too. Idk man, people are weird about t/b things but I’d say the weirdest are those who got really offended and mad about their strict t/b preference

[Annie @Annie74926]

@swordnlotus *verse (not switch)
Like you see it but what are we going to do about it ? I dropped the fic whenever It’s just too bad and too ooc in an « offensive » way. Also it doesn’t help that majority of people effectively treat t/b as d/s.
I do think some of the best I read was switch

[Annie @Annie74926]

@kxreeda I get it sometimes the guy is so hot you gotta see it through

[Annie @Annie74926]

@bun_sprout Way to kill any potential buzz, like wow they should just made their typical het romance instead of waiting everyone time

[Annie @Annie74926]

@himbopresident Hockey romance knew it couldn’t have me with heated rivalry so it send female alpha and male omega. Still not happening but like intrigued

[Annie @Annie74926]

@pol_pol333 Plus it’s perfect torture material for Yoshiki too since he will also be haunted by the unknown. But the author clearly wanted to put to rest og Hikaru. Probably bc of how annoying a side of the fandom was about him (from what I’ve heard)

[Annie @Annie74926]

@pol_pol333 Like my personal one and how I would write it in fic would be just never clarifying his feelings. Just letting it clearly ambiguous bc the tragedy of Og Hikaru is all about his untimely death which stop him for growing into the person he was meant to be and nobody will never know

[Annie @Annie74926]

@redbeersake This feels like a non issue, if you brand the post as non interest Twitter will get the clue and won’t show you content from that ship anymore. I do it all the time for all the ships I don’t want to see

[Annie @Annie74926]

@QueerCactai @flixiastar Isn’t it ? I think it’s quacking ? I got the wrong verb but you get it

[Annie @Annie74926]

@OverseasAhijo They send him to massacre demons and all he found was people, friends, and family. He tried everything to rationalize his atrocity, and the best he could come up with was the story of a glutton girl who wanted to eat potatoes

[Annie @Annie74926]

@OverseasAhijo That’s the whole point of the scene, he is traumatized bc he know for a fact they weren’t demons on that island but just a bunch of people, kids, family etc no different than him and he knows what he did to them was wrong

[Annie @Annie74926]

@furtivecrow @getocausa Idk but this felt like the last we will ever heard of OGHikaru and this ending doesn’t really read “the queer tragedy of being in the closet and stuck in heteronormativity”. I kinda would have preferred to have OG Hikaru feelings stays ambiguous though

[Annie @Annie74926]

@furtivecrow @getocausa This is such a pet peeve of me when people are just not able to separate their hc and the canon show. Like you said the writing choice matter and the author choosing to end of Hikaru story like that, reinforcing the care, love and acceptance he had for his friends is a choice too
