@tofar1 Several I have spoken to says that the distributors can't get fuel, and the contracts for diesel for the season are being broken hand over fist, and they are being told to buy retail, what do you think would happen?

@hughriminton Anybody that think that this isn't about fuel supply, haven't heard about the "domino-effect". When the real supply is around 25-30 days, and farmers and truckies can't get anything, and the govt says there isn't a crisis....

@WheatWatcher This is only anecdotal, but it from farmers around WA it sounds like the wholesalers are hoarding, and retailers and wholesalers having a ball on the price increases. It is close to impossible to get diesel contracts fulfilled in ag.

@stationmum101 hahaha... people do not have any sense of history. If anyone would just understand, that e.g. the WA Wheatbelt is as of today through to reach an unprecedented 26.6 million tonnes, from what was semi-desert, don't understand variability is normal, and farmers are living it.

Ah, roundabouts and Perth drivers, wonderful. Daily occurance: Indicating to go right in roundabout, but the driver is using it to "indicate" exiting the roundabout to the left. A sixth sense or do not trust drivers. The driver training is exactly "blind leading the blind", I heard one instructor had focused on how the driver was bending around to look in the blind spot for half an hour, not looking in the blindspot at the right time, but that the motion was to his liking.... sigh.

Congratulations on the Day, all Australians! We have to be happy that we are living in a democracy. We are giving everyone a fair go. We do not make laws that prosecute law-abiding citizens; we respect democracy and parliamentary processes. We respect everyone's right to live the life they want. Our great country should not be enjoyed by a privileged few but be accessible to all. We should respect nature and wildlife and be thankful for the people who put food on our tables. We all put in the hard yards for our Australia, friends and family. Those who we chose to lead us should remember that you are working for all Australians, not just the ones who voted for you.

What do you expect when Mr Whittington (see his bio) and Mr Mumby (A Canadian real estate agent, see bio) think they are the best to understand the act and an area far outside their expertise? Mr Whittington realised this and wrote a piece for Farm Weekly to save his a**se. But I think PGA and the WAFF should take responsibility. These advisors have done nothing in the Abor. Heritage Act nor in the Live Export ban, just blind talk.
