The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts.
What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it, write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. 🦋
I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things. 💖 @dollyparton

no. why can’t a black woman just want to defend herself? if it was about appeasing my fans, i would’ve been responded back years ago. and also other celebs have never even gotten close to some of the horrible things some random people tell me. throwing shade is one thing. but calling me ugly, talentless, a failure, a sex fein, when i’ve done nothing to deserve that, it’s time for it stop. because it seems to get worse the more quiet i stay. enough.
This issue was resolved in 2020.
"You can come if you want" is passive, non-commital, no skin in the game, no yearning, shifts the vulnerability/burden of "wanting"
"I want you to come" is earnest, bears the vulnerability of "wanting", and actively expresses a desire.
Our sophomore album ‘Therapy At The Club’ is out now 🥹 This album shows how much we’ve grown over the years and how we’ve stepped out of our comfort zone to explore. Lowk emotional to be releasing this out to the world but we hope you take time to listen and really digest every song and enjoy it 💙
