John was a patient on ward 1 in 2013. He needed a liver transplant and staff nurse Maryanne helped organise his transfer to London. After a successful operation, John and his wife Gwen return every Christmas Eve.

@nursejennyw Very kind but we had a band 5 in charge today who usually takes charge on nights. The comments from the team were that she guided the ship through rough seas in a calm manner. So lovely to see them supporting one another! 🥰
