We started this project less than 100 days ago w/ $0 but determined to fight back against far-right extremists on school boards. Since launching we recruited 100+ volunteer coaches & subject matter experts to support progressive candidates. AND WE WON 37 races across 6 states!

We saw candidates who stepped up from communities, experiences, and backgrounds of all kinds. Parents, educators, young people, and more who saw an urgent need. They took on the hard job of running for office - and we’re so proud of them. Win or lose.

SBP was founded as a way to bring together the skills, insight, and support of seasoned campaign professionals with a shared vision of a just education. The people who came to us as coaches and volunteers showed us what that vision can look like.

37 of our School Board Project endorsed candidates won their races across six states, including battlegrounds like Ohio, NC, PA, & Virginia. That's nearly 60% of the total candidates we worked with this cycle!
