“Angel Reese, Atlanta Dream
This one might surprise some readers, since Reese is one of the most popular and well-known players in the WNBA. Reese is a three-time All-Star and has received lots of recognition for her rebounding prowess. But there’s still a popular notion that Reese isn’t actually a great basketball player, and that her off-court gigs (modelling, podcast, etc) are why she’s famous.
The truth couldn’t be further from that, and it’s very clear when you watch Reese play. The 24-year-old is an elite defender, and she plays with a motor few — if any — WNBA players rival. She’s averaging 15.8 points per game (19th-most in the WNBA among players with at least 15 games) and 11.6 boards per game (second-most). She’s the best offensive rebounder in the league, grabbing 5.1 o-boards per game.
Her +4.2 net rating is the 18th-best in the league. Reese deserves to end up on an All-WNBA team this season, and she has way outperformed her No. 7 draft spot.”

As a black woman who uses to play with Barbie as a kid. Just because they made black Barbie, doesn’t mean they were always available to buy. I can remember wanting a specific type of Barbie & not seeing a black version of it on shelves. Hope that helps.
You know what. I can’t believe I’m defending garbage Barbie in any capacity, but Riley WISHES she was Sophie. And I can’t stand SC, so just another reason to really hate RG. Never thought I’d see the day where I find SG more likable than…anybody really. But here we are
Literally pulled these exact same stunts last season in Chicago
So imma keep dragging because all that sisterhood go out the window when yall wanna make her a martyr
@Deuce1042 ATL went 30-14 last season without her. They have taken a clear step back in basketball terms but have taken a step forward in marketing and merchandise. The players seem to check out when they play Reese ball
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣You be funny sometimes. Nah, YOU want A’Ja to be her mentor & you mad Angel won’t kiss the ring & take on the subservient lil sis role like yall happy for others to do. 🤭👀 & SHE acknowledge her deficiencies which is why she got MENTORED by Lisa Leslie & Queen Phee.
On the one hand you want A’ja to be her mentor
On the other hand you’re mad at Allisha for being her actual friend and talking to her after a game
On the one hand you want her to be ALL WNBA but still won’t acknowledge clear deficiencies
