@IMcMillan Good morning. I haven't been to sleep yet. Steroid insomnia! And the seagulls of St Leonard's on Sea are sqwarking now, so it's probably time for a cup of tea.
@amscanlon Nearest I can recall is the Jeanette Winterson book and TV adaptation Oranges are not the Only Fruit. But that was a novel. Albeit based on her own past but I'm still not sure how accurate it could have been
@DrHelenFry Kate Atkinson's book Transcription is reminiscent of this fascinating story of the Secret Ladies. So much was going on unacknowledged and it is good to read about it.
@MartinSLewis@mmhpi When did the Remploy factories and workshops disappear? They weren't the answer for everyone, but provided a possibility of paying employment for some disabled and chronically sick people.
@Shrink_at_Large Are the proposed changes just for new applications? Or are they going to review/reassess everybody already getting PIP? Surely that would take a very long time bearing in mind the lengthy wait and delays in tribunal appeals.
@BrenMcgowan@andreww1967@MichaelCGlasper The line I remember is when someone has pranged the car is " but we already owe the council three bollards". No idea why I remember this when the whole subplot of the relationship with Leonard is much deeper. Brilliant programme
@SUSIE1932@Sue_Cowley Six sevens is the best! The answer is 42 which everyone knows is the answer to everything in the universe (Douglas Adams,)No idea what seven eights is, never could do tables.
