And when it rains, just know water won't be supplied that day! For those with iron sheets they celebrate as that's the same water they use to cook and drink since its clean than the supplied one from the public water points but how about the ones with plastic sheetings? #Refugees
@nfreidus @arbiebaguios@zehrarizvi@GPJGeneva@UNOCHA Thanks @nfreidus, accountability to affected populations is our goal. @GPJGeneva that's a great question and points to the problem we're working on. We help organisations hear ideas from affected people, look at satisfaction levels and take action - building accountability.
Just asking my self if #Humanitarian Organisations understand the word #accountability if our minds are still on "We can guess what Refugee needs are"

In partnership with the incredible @kujakujaglobal, our team has been working with young people to collect data for Cocoon, a project dedicated to the design of safe spaces and services for managing #menstruation in humanitarian settlements.

Our field team is currently conducting (socially distanced) #designresearch and rough prototyping in the Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement in northwestern Uganda!
We are so proud of our work with the design rockstars over at @YLabsGlobal. In partnership with @Elrha, the work focuses on using community feedback data to inform the design of safe spaces and services for managing menstruation in humanitarian settings.
Kuja Kuja is a feedback mechanism that we use to collect real-time responses from the communities we work with. At our @theOFDA funded Gambadhe MCH in Sool, @KujaKujaGlobalโs daily inputs help us design and implement exactly what health services the community needs.
Refugees worldwide need support to stop the spread of #COVID19. In the last two weeks Kuja Kuja has shifted to all remote data collection and this week we will release a suite of new products allowing us to expand rapidly across communities globally. We are ready for this fight.
So great to speak with our partners in Bidi Bidi about Kuja Kuja and to begin planning for expanded access to the platform there in 2020. A big 12 months ahead across Uganda!
