@B03GHB4L1 Alot of people seem to think Mainoo is something he isnt. Mainoo is below average out of possession and is above average, but not elite, in possession. He just isnt better than Rice or Anderson at anything. He is like Baleba without the physicality.

@the_art_of_7 Its not enough having only one (injury prone) engine for a 50/60 game season. Also you really think this holds a candle to our neighbours who boast Rodri, Kovacic, Gonzalez, Reijnders, Anderson and possibly Bouaddi? Not so sure.

@alfiecoulson08 @saundzo sure but the rest of our team and the league is still geared for big spaces / transitions. you cant compete for the league and be poor at those aspects. utd now need to sign very fast CBs to prevent a regression (which they wont do this summer).

@lebzygold its seems the club see santos as a tchouameni alternative/casemiro replacement and tielemans is the alternative to mateus who will be in rotation with mainoo. they will expect santos to win the ball on the ground, in the air, and snuff out transitions. bad news.

Obviously Tielemans is a great player, but what exactly is the plan here? Are him and Kobbie competing for the same position? Because they absolutely cannot play together in a double pivot. A bit of an oddity.

@Erwin6_ mainoo, tielemens, santos all slow and poor in air. they all need a 'security guard' to partner with. none of those 3 can play with each other in a pivot. why sign tielemens when you have mainoo? makes no sense. hints club see santos as the 'security guard' type which is very bad

@alextalksall we needed at least 2 fast + good in the air midfielders this summer with our backline being the way it is and the loss of ugarte & casemiro. new we can probs only get one after tielemans. bad signing imo
