A gentle reminder for the young woman who feels behind:
Your life is not a competition with the woman beside you.
Her timeline isn’t your prophecy.
Her chapter 10 doesn’t invalidate your chapter 3.
Keep walking.
There are prayers I used to think God hadn’t answered until I realised the answer was actually, “Not yet.”
Timing can be frustrating when you only see the waiting. But sometimes God is preparing the person who will carry the answer.
I hope this week you remember that you don’t have to become everything at once. Grow at the pace grace allows. Learn what this season is teaching you. Become slowly. Become well.
Sometimes the most powerful prayer is simply, “Lord, I don’t know what to do next, but I trust You.”
Not every season comes with clarity. Sometimes faith is continuing to walk while trusting that God sees what you can’t.
Sunday has a way of making you slow down enough to hear your own thoughts again. Maybe that’s why I love it. There’s something beautiful about having a day where you don’t have to chase everything.
Sometimes the woman you’re becoming will disappoint the people who were comfortable with the woman you used to be. Growth can change relationships. That doesn’t always mean you’ve become difficult. Sometimes you’ve simply become clearer.
