@emeriticus No need to be skeptical, go read and see pictures of what actually happened, it's everywhere. Not rocket science or cleverly hidden by any means
@twobitidiot Such insensitivity towards current world tragedy is the reason I will unfollow you. You should had stuck with crypto instead of acting like some stupid politician on twitter; trying to pick favorable and highly untrue numbers to support your agenda
The mayor of #Melitopol Ivan Fedorov was kidnapped, said Anton Gerashchenko
According to him, Fyodorov refused to cooperate with the Russian military occupying the city. He was detained at the city crisis center, where he was in charge of the city's life support.
This is Ivan Fedorov, mayor of Melitopol, which is controlled by RU troops for several days. Today he was kidnapped with plastic bag on head from crisis center, where he continued to govern the city after he denied to work with occupants. Terror continues #RussiaInvadedUkraine
@Marieaaow@Patrida1941@DefenceHQ NATO has not done enough. Too afraid even give jets to Ukraine to fend itself against this monstrosity, only because it makes Putin angry. It failed to give Ukraine membership after it applied 13 years ago
Sanction all western companies doing business in Russia or with any Russian entities. Supporting the Russian war machine is not morally acceptable. Retweet if you agree.
@noBScrypto if anything this shows further decentralization is needed but until this is solved; as long as it has intention of doing greater good. I think the society is obligated to exercise this action. I think some times it's necessary to compromise a principle for more moral intentions
@noBScrypto Unfortunately sanctions seem the last course of actions west can take to stop this hell or make it costly to Russia. Not sure what other actions are out there or if there is a more effective way. But in dire situations like these, actions are better than no actions
@noBScrypto As I said before, this war and war tends to have casualties and less measured attacks as so do sanctions. I wish someone would come here and perhaps school me on a more effective way to stop Russia from doing this, but unfortunately I don't see it
@noBScrypto This is war, and war is tends to be messy and have casualties. I don't understand why we are obligated to comfort the citizens of an aggressive country when their country in return doesn't respect humanitarian nor democratic rights of country they're invading unprovoked
@noBScrypto You make fair points. However I still disagree. Whether or not people have luxuries of the west. Makes no difference when their country decides to be an aggressor and terrorize the subjects
@noBScrypto I don't think it's enough frankly, as Ukraine is facing a world super power. Donating to military is not going to prevent Russian troops committing humanitarian crisis around the nation nor will it match Russia's war chest or amassed military
@twobitidiot Unfortunately NATO doesn't have the balls to be a military force that stands up for humanitarian rights and freedom either. They would rather roll on their backs and stay invisible every time Mr. Putin gets upset. Ukraine has been asking for membership since 2008...
@DavidSacks It will depend on whether you are against war in general or against innocent people die and lose their freedom. You can't have both in this situation.
Four things we should push for:
1. More weapons to Ukraine
2. No fly zone over Ukraine, by NATO or donated NATO planes
3. Total embargo on Russian oil and gas
4. Cut all remaining Russian banks from SWIFT
Retweet if you agree!
