@UshiMomoka Also to add on why I was her mod: She had issues streaming movies and stuff for movie nights in her discord VC, so I volunteered to check her servers settings + streaming movies from my Netflix/Hulu/Disney movies accounts. After that, she asked me to help moderate her community.
@UshiMomoka Pt.3
Said harassment became worse AFTER I had left her community. She went on to accuse me and lie to her community in multiple VC calls and added multiple false accusations in her "stories" she accused me of. That said, I'm so glad I am away from her and her community.
@LarkSolitary@chromuru ?? Ego, and bro doesn't know all sorts of scams exist? You give off very... Weirdo vibes bro. In fact, you saying this ALONE makes you 100% a weirdo.
@VantDrav@KumaTheCook@GeneralGEEGA Yeah, her phrasing and everything in her first tweet is both very mixed and confusing. Sure she answered a bit of questions, now I think this is still a big "gamble" to pay for her "trusted" sources to cite you and consult you on your work/future ideas and stuff.
@j0hnnysuburban Geega's update uses both investment of time AND money. Also states the pay to join is to pay for the people she personally recruited to act as manager/etc.
@VantDrav@KumaTheCook@GeneralGEEGA This. Connections is big with community engagement. And showing how good you are with community engagement with other content creators AND your own community is a BIG green flag in potential, but also shows a lot about yourself and how you are as a streamer online.
@AstralJam8@GeneralGEEGA Well, yeah, the fame and thought of people thinking "I can make it big and make a quick buck by acting like an anime girl online" def got to some people. Unfortunately that includes people that HATE vtubers and vtubing but use it to make money and build fame. Aka larpers
@KumaTheCook@VantDrav@GeneralGEEGA I also notice your main form of vtubing is literally vtubers who have made it successful at 30k+ following, including Nene Amano, who's success is built a lot on top of her ASMR content over any of her other content. She doesn't network very much since her corpo days.
@KumaTheCook@VantDrav@GeneralGEEGA ? No offense but your argument is terrible. You're arguing "if you don't have a lot of connections, you don't have potential" which is very terrible. That's like saying "If you don't have friends, why would I want to talk to you?" You're looking at them to look at their friends.
@Sprixer@LeynnieLey@GeneralGEEGA To add on to this, but it's PRETTY clear the upfront billing is stocks. More people = Price increases = More money to give to connected artists + managers she has contracted/connected with without disclosing who they are unless you enter her server + pay.
@Sprixer@LeynnieLey@GeneralGEEGA "She and those helping deserve compensation"
No offense to this but, Pippa, Ludwig, and many other big streamers have spoken and given tips on these "luxuries" spoken about. A majority of people know it isn't an agency, but a consultation ONLY instead with free game nights.
@LarkSolitary@chromuru "Experiment on Geega's part" alone makes this sound 120% like a scam. If advice and stuff from her managers don't go well, you're literally out of luck AND money wasted. If you hit a wall streaming, I won't lie, the best thing is trying original things. That's how many popped off
@Adv_Charles_VT@chromuru That's level 2 imo. The offered level 1 by X person is more of "Hey, here's this and this tip! Manager Z can check your stream out and give their opinions to improve, otherwise pay Y dollars to connect with others on my discord and have fun with game nights!"
