Derrick Henry turned 32 in January with 322 touches, 1,745 yards and 16 TDs.
Since 2018 (inc. postseason), Henry has +370 touches than the next closest player in the NFL (Saquon).
+21 TDs than next (CMC).
10+ TDs in 8 straight seasons.
+1,362 yards than next(CMC).
Damn. First poker book I ever read was The Theory of Poker by Sklansky.
Also, everyone still uses the phrase Sklansky Bucks today. For example: “My god I bet Xavier Worthy over 32.5 yards, it closed 46.5, and lost. Does the fucking landlord accept Sklansky Bucks?”
RIP.
Been on my mind lately and think there’s a lot of truth to it. Fortunately(?) for us (me and my friends around 30 in the US) it seems that everything is happening on a much more accelerated timeline than before. The hope is that if/when we fall, the rebuild will be quick?? Idk…
Pessimistic me thinks we’re fucked and we deserve everything we get due to our collective complacency. Something something weak men, hard times… 250yrs is prolly enough of this hellscape. Late stage capitalism folks were right all along.
