I certainly feel that the Labour Party are a party for the middle class now, we have lost touch with our roots. Turning away from trade unions will only make it worse. We need to encourage local people in communities to stand as candidates - not parachute candidates.

@CatharineHoey has just been on woman’s hour. I didn’t agree with absolutely everything she said but she did raise some great points about how Labour’s MPs are becoming increasingly out of touch, we definitely need to be looking at how we can make sure we stay in touch.

If some people put the same amount of energy into complaining on Twitter over a cabinet reshuffle we have no say in - into actually going out campaigning imagine how great we’d be #reshuffle

I would hope that Rachel Reeves doesn’t hold the same view as she did years ago. I understand people’s concerns but I think you need to give her some time and judge her on her performance now as a verse to her past. #Reshuffle
