Trump backed the scandal-plagued Paxton in one of the riskiest bets of the midterms.

Timeline regarding the #LorettoHospital case involving Sameer Suhail, Anosh Ahmed, and the Dubai NYE gathering with Ken Paxton:

• 2021: FBI investigation into Loretto Hospital [ Chicago ] begins, linked to COVID-19 vaccine and related issues. Anosh Ahmed [ then CFO/COO ] resigns or is terminated amid controversies. The alleged scheme [ fake invoices/payments for goods and services never provided ] primarily ran ~2018–2022 and involved Ahmed, Sameer Suhail [ owner of related medical supply companies ].

• May 2024: Heather Bergdahl is arrested while boarding a private jet bound for Dubai.
• Early June 2024: Sameer Suhail moves to Dubai.
• July 2024: Federal indictment is unsealed charging Suhail, Ahmed, and Bergdahl [ wire fraud, embezzlement of ~$15 million from Loretto, money laundering, etc. ]. Ahmed donates $25,000 to Texas Attorney General Ken #Paxton around this time [ part of roughly $190,000 in total donations from Ahmed to Paxton since 2022, including a post-indictment contribution ].
• October 2024: A superseding indictment adds former CEO George Miller [ alleged kickbacks/bribes ]. Suhail and Ahmed remain abroad and are treated as fugitives.
• December 31, 2024 / January 1, 2025: New Year’s Eve party in Dubai. A video reviewed by @WSJ shows Ken Paxton and his girlfriend Tracy Duhon watching fireworks over the Burj Khalifa from a high-rise terrace/balcony. Sameer Suhail and Anosh Ahmed [ still fugitives at the time, facing the U.S. federal charges ] are among those present at the gathering.
• November 30, 2025: Anosh Ahmed is arrested in Serbia under an Interpol Red Notice. The U.S. seeks his extradition; he remains in Serbian custody while proceedings continue.
• April 21–22, 2026: Sameer Suhail returns to the U.S., is taken into custody at O’Hare International Airport, appears in federal court in Chicago, pleads not guilty, and is released on a $5 million bond [ secured by properties ] with home confinement and electronic monitoring.
• 2026 [ ongoing ]: Some co-defendants reach plea deals or deferred prosecution agreements [ e.g., Miller and Bergdahl ]. Suhail’s case proceeds under the bond conditions. Ahmed’s extradition and related proceedings continue in stages.
• October 2026: The Wall Street Journal reports on the previously unreported NYE 2024/2025 Dubai gathering involving Paxton, Duhon, Suhail, and Ahmed.

A terror investigation is under way after one person was shot dead and four others injured in an outer suburb of #Paris.

The shootings happened at three separate locations in the towns of #Trappes and La Verriere, said interior minister Laurent Nunez.
Mr Nunez said the attacker used a "military-grade weapon, or at least an automatic weapon".

The motive is currently unclear but the anti-terrorism prosecutor's office is leading the case and said it was looking at whether the attack was motivated by race or religion.

Trump’s tariffs cost American farmers their biggest soybean customer, and family farms are the ones paying for his trade war.
When China stopped buying US soybeans, growers in #Iowa, #Illinois, #Kansas and #Nebraska lost the market they’d spent decades building.

The farm aid he keeps announcing doesn’t come close to covering it. The newest round, $8 billion for diesel, won’t even have payment rates until November, after the midterm votes are counted.

A now declassified FBI FD-1023 CHS (Confidential Human Source Reporting), is alleging that Alan #Dershowitz had been "co-opted by #Mossad" and used his influence at elite institutions for Israeli intelligence objectives.

The report also suggests Epstein was a "co-opted #Mossad agent" who was leveraged due to his access to global political and financial networks.

Memo claims Donald #Trump was "compromised by Israel" and that Jared #Kushner exercised outsized influence during Trump's first term. 

#DOJ has stressed that the inclusion of these claims in the release does not indicate they are factual or corroborated. Dershowitz has previously denied any such ties, stating he wished #Epstein had intelligence connections as it would have helped his legal defense. 🤔

Because Epstein had contacts within #CIA and assisted Leslie #Wexner repurpose planes previously used by #SouthernAirTransport, which was a notorious CIA proprietary airline, having been owned outright by the CIA from 1960 to 1973 and later used during the Iran-Contra affair in the 1980s to transport arms.

Additionally during Epstein's early career, he had connections to British intelligence contractor #DouglasLeese.
