@hija_bi14@heresmishti Minimum wage laws are a terrible idea. They do not work. It will force businesses to fire staff members. It will end up increasing the cost of living etc.
@IamCaoimheDunne@mxrythefxiry Ah you'e one of those naive ones who think they are being moral and somehow protecting others.... don't fool yourself child. Once you grow up, maybe in the next 10 years or so, you'll understand a lot more about the world around you.
@Derpy551@jenna_os So you admit that you have not read any peer reviewed papers on this matter then? Because if you had, you wouldn't have said this. Funny you mention Dunning-Kruger effect and confirmation bias whilst un-ironically falling victim to both of them as you speak.
@FionaKenny1 I doubt you even know what "fascism" actually means hahaha. Typical far left nut jobs. You probably hate yourself for being white too, huh?
@bartlomiiej @Micklyons33 @megan81914677 @MichelleHealy_1 I get your point. I believe you have the best intentions at heart. But man, the reality is so clear, this virus is nothing more than a strong flu. The excess death is no more than 1050 in 2020. We saw a similar excess death in 08/09. The measures don't work, it's not backed up.
@DinnyKelly91 @keithjack38@GilroysWorld You'd think these people would be tongue deep inside Michael Martin's ass the way they're speaking...
The worst thing is: They haven't even looked at any data in detail which would tell them that none of these measures work.
@GilroysWorld The fact that people are still talking about "cases" astounds me. Cases are worthless figures. They don't tell us ANYTHING. If you want anything representative, look at the positivity rate. If you only test 10 people in one day, you can only have 10 cases that day. Use your brain
@bartlomiiej @Micklyons33 @megan81914677 @MichelleHealy_1 One of my own family members had COVID as well as two friends of mine. They ALL lost their sense of either taste or smell. It's temporary. I haven't heard of anyone "developing" asthma. If that's the case, they weren't that far away from getting asthma in the first place..
@bartlomiiej @Micklyons33 @megan81914677 @MichelleHealy_1 .. part of their life in terms of socialisation? What about the elderly who don't get any visits, the ones we're supposedly "protecting"?
All in the name of protecting people who by all means were already going to die in the near future regardless of COVID.
@Micklyons33 .. a car crash than they are from COVID. Just let that sink in.. people who are more likely to die in a vehicular accident than dying from COVID are being locked up. Please get your head out of your arse.
@Micklyons33 Who actually convinced you that these measures work?? Furthermore, if people who are vulnerable do not want to contract this virus, they can isolate themselves for whatever period of time they'd like. Nobody is stopping them. Don't lock up people who are more likely to die from..
@Micklyons33 @megan81914677 @MichelleHealy_1 You're calling others "clueless", yet you're the most clueless here. Covid isn't even dangerous. It's comparable with the Swine flu of 08/09. My analysis shows that in the year 2020 we had between 850 and 1050 excess death. The excess death during the Swine flu epidemic was ~1000
@BlueHose1000@yuhjacobo@noturusualsaint@kay_ay_tea_why @ayyyemal @fuckcubicles I'm not surprised they never replied again. What a display of absolutely pathetic self-hatred. They cannot grasp that Asian Americans are out performing every other race substantially.
@stonedonadinghy @CowgirlNiamh @AnnPayne6 @Stephen88714667@padraig_reilly@GardaTraffic@gardarep@gardainfo Have you heard? They're now talking about a "Green badge" you might need in order to enter into pubs or other places to prove you've been vaccinated. Makes you think about the good old Star of David don't you think?
