@Machine_I_am_me What everyone thought chapter 5's gonna be about: Dreemurr family issues. Asgore kicking our Ass with the blackShard. FRIEND. That old cowboy show (FRIEND INSIDE ME). 6 fallen humans as flowers
What chapter 5's actually about: "TOBY'S A FUCKING WEEB"
@MrMordicai@arfa2706 (still kinda sad how little moments she gets in acts 1/2 on a single playthrough. I love her, but outside the fights she at best gets like 2 scenes during those acts. I wish there was more)
@bwompfish (actually I'm no longer sure If I conveyed my point How I wanted. I meant that people with genuinely STUPID ceitiques (the whiniest people in question), give bad reputation to even the actually reasonable critics)
@bwompfish Like, there's of course the extreme cases where the opinion's just ass in general, but If it's something like character backstories, I think there It's just a matter of not making it out to be too big of a deal
@bwompfish I think it should kinda depend on the approach in presenting the"critiques"in question. Like, whether it's painting it as an actual flaw or if it's more of a matter of"I wish the show did (X)".Like,I think there's nothing wrong in wanting more Scratch or smth, even If he irrelevant
@GrantTheNa1@Krushied I don't know how good of a job I'm doing at explaining what I mean. But in-short I just think Episode 8's ending set itself up to be a more devastating moment than it actually was in the long run. Like it wasn't pointless per-say, but it was a good bit Underwhelming purely imo
@GrantTheNa1@Krushied I also still think faking us out so much with Caine being dead, only for it to not be something the show actually commits to, has just a bit of a sour taste. I mean, I like Caine's redemption in-itself. But I'd just rather them do it without pretending they killed him off?
@GrantTheNa1@Krushied Episode 8 is hurt in my eyes just because of how little it feels like it's ending actually mattered, considering that Caine just comes back and that the circus being in ruin is barely acknowledged, before it's dropped as a concept entirely. Though that's just my opinion
@Slendermusic1@superboogus1 I'm not sure which epa the post meant exactly, but I find you bringing up "last 3" funny considering 7 and 8 are probably the most disposable ones (with one the whole point is that it was all fake and didn't matter. the other's impact is instantly discarded by caine coming back)
@ap_certi@iyyahn_alradin@xelwnwnitzaki I'd feel better about brushing them off as "non-canon" If they were only in the pilot or something, but they ARE still on the doors in later episodes like ep 6. If they're non-canon I don't know why they'd keep them there to begin with
@Gina_Lavetti@clarascringe I still don't get why they didn't have BUBBLE be the one arguing with Caine with the void (like how he did in ep 8) and instead entirely presented it as just Caine talking to himself while going full split-personality
