@JacobPacheco6 You know you don’t have to go? No one does. And if no one buys, they won’t do it. But if people do buy, does that make them money hungry, or giving the people what they want? God forbid people enjoy drafting a potential franchise changing player collectively as a fan base 🙄
@TicketVisionHQ Yes. And I think putting these kinds of artists in extremely large rooms in evidence that the break even is no where close to a sell out. And if that’s the case, the promoter is making a mint!
@CryptoTounsi@SariKWatson@globeandmail Nope! Doesn't work like that. By that logic, every ally country in WWII are also terrorists. Do you believe that to be the case?
@tommydprimetim1 I think there is validity to your argument, but what other comparable commodity follows this protocol? I can’t come up with any comparables. Is there another product that goes on sale, has limited supply, and discloses the specific distribution breakdown and timing like that?
@BakeandShake34@SamuelAdams_12 More home runs hit in Yankee stadium than Fenway or Oracle. But it’s not specifically about Yankee stadium. Just the fact that smaller parks exist and it’s part of the game. A team playing somewhere small for a handful of games is no big deal and no major advantage.
@Devon0527 If you have to cover your face and identity (as many on this side do) to protest for what you believe is 'right' and 'true', then MAYBE what you're fighting for is NOT what is 'right' and 'true'. Why would you need to hide if you're on the side of good? What are you hiding from?
@islanders_takes Great idea. But it's unrealistic to eliminate it completely. Teams should just work better terms in to NTC. Something like 'if you request a trade while under NTC, you must submit at least 10 teams.' or 15 or 20, or whatever gets negotiated. But have a high # as the minimum.
@JakeLandauTO This is the group ppl point to and say “see, not every Jew is a Zionist, therefore I am not an antisemite just for being anti-zionist”. It’s complete bs. 50 ppl vs 60k ppl. 0.008% of the group who participated were “anti-Zionist”. It’s complete BS. Anti-Zionism = Anti-semitism.
@ChepekaCollin Maybe someone should go ask the citizens in Israel? Then do the same in Gaza. I have a feeling the general sentiment in each place about the other is going to be WILDY different. Shockingly different. I wonder which side is more open to accepting the other? I wonder… Hmmm….
@Molly85224872@Uriel16549924@VerminusM Hold on. Hamas are terrorists (hard to argue that!). They have no military bases or anything of the like. Yet they have 'soldiers' and weapons being used to attack everyday. How does one go about attempting to eliminate the terrorists and weapons they use?
@TicketTalkNet@forcemm@gracieabrams@Ticketmaster The real solution is finding a method of getting tix to real fans, at a price that works for everyone (fans, artists, promoters). Raising ticket prices so high, to the point brokers aren't interested, isn't a great solution for fans - especially those uploading ID to access them
@saumil@faken1ceties The specifics are they only enforce this if/when the artist directly requests they scrub the ticket buyer list and check for it. If the artist doesn’t ask, TM doesn’t enforce the ticket limits.
@VoodooHipster@Ticket_Help2022 Inflation since 2021 has been crazy. Prices have gone up in all those areas (except merch, I suppose) for everyone - not just artists. If artists costs are rising, and promoters are paying less, then something is broken in that relationship. Don't take it out on the fans.
