@rpochandigarh @passportsevamea My permanent address is my present address only.

I am posted at a distance of 30 km from my permanent address and commute daily from there.

Many of the employees commute daily from their job place. Kindly google the distance between my permanent address and my posting address.

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

@rpochandigarh @passportsevamea

Any update on Passport File Number CHA068515516526.

Place of residence and posting is different...what kind of silly objection is this.

Most of the employees are obviously posted away from hometown. Department has already provided NOC...

@rpochandigarh @passportsevamea Check application. Permanent address is there

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

@rpochandigarh @passportsevamea Permanent residential address is mentioned in my application. No application is accepted without permanent address.

Can you check my passport file reference CHA068515516526 and provide info why my application is put on hold.

No one informs, no communication what so ever.

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

@T_RexRoars @ravikishann Really ....

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

@passportsevamea @MEAIndia Although same is already mentioned by employer in annexure A, permanent address is available in Aadhar Card, ITR copy submitted, Pan Card show , 10th certificate submitted.

What kind of illogical requirement is this...

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

@passportsevamea @MEAIndia

A PSU employee posted at one place, applied for passport at his home place, provided NOC from employer through Annexure A...

Passport application put on hold with reason that residence and place of posting are different..really.What a silly reason.

[Sandeep Nagpal @AnonymousFI83]

@MEAIndia @passportsevamea

Can you kindly clear if this is the norm...and we boast if digital India...here for passport..now I have to take leave for one day, travel 400 km and explain to officer that I am working in a transferable job but my permanent address is different..
