All mystics are unanimous on one thing: that all is well, all is well! Though everything is a mess, all is well. Strange paradox, to be sure. But, tragically, most people never get to see that all is well because they are asleep. They are having a nightmare.~ Anthony de Mello
as you go through life and stack on more years you will come across younger dudes who believe they can do anything, be anything, achieve everything
the same way you did when you were younger, before things went wrong, before terrible things happened to you
it’s important to realize THEY are right, and so were you
it’s important to let that energy rub off on you and shape you into your old self instead of trying to lecture them into mellowing out, about the lessons life will teach them, about how they’ll grow out of it. never try to “save” them from disappointment, let them make you forget your own

pattern recognition is a lonely gift. by the time everyone else finally sees it, you’ve already been called dramatic, negative or crazy for pointing it out.
@subayobaka@alejandrina_gp Because Europe isn't and infatuated with "stardom" and generally treats everyone equally. Especially because he's not there in his role as a cyclist, but in private.
@grtfllenpcfll25@artfuIchaos are you an adult or a kid? are you tied up in chains, held at gun point? I thought we were speaking "survival mode" in psychological terms, not in criminal terms. if you have the physical ability to pick up a phone, you MUST cry for help, it's your responsibility towards YOURSELF
