OSUN GUBER ELECTION:
Don't Allow Accord Party To Tamper With Used Election Materials In Your Custody
- Osun APC Cautions INEC
.... Tasks Police, DSS To Take Charge
Following the statewide information about the desperation of the Osun State chapter of the Accord Party to cover the track of the rigging of the last Saturday's governorship election in the state, the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC not to allow the Accord Party to tamper with the used election materials in its custody pending the forensic examination of the election materials.
Recorded videos of the various units and wards where electoral malpractices orchestrated by the Accord Party especially in the strongholds of the ruling party took place during the last Saturday's governorship election have gone viral to the chagrin of the discerning minds in the state and beyond.
There were numerous incidents of jerking up of figures of the ballot papers in favour of Governor Ademola Adeleke which fraudulently earned him the re-election of the governorship victory he is parading.
Information at our disposal showed that the Accord Party has been working frantically to make efforts to tamper with the election materials in order to work to the answer four clear days after the election.
We are imploring the state police command and the Department of Security Services(DSS) to swing into action with a view to arresting and prosecuting the Accord Party agents who may be involved in this electoral and criminal act.
It would be recalled that our governorship campaign Director-General, Honourable Wole Oke, disclosed in an interview on Monday that our party would subject the used INEC documents in the election to forensic examination in order to ascertain the veracity and authenticity of the controversial governorship victory that Governor Adeleke has been parading.
If truly, Governor Adeleke won the governorship election convincingly as he has been making the members of the public to believe, why altering the figures in the custody of the INEC.
It is shameful that whoever is aspiring to govern the state is adopting cutting of the corner to achieve his political aspiration which is not a good way to act as a role model to the youths.
How did we get it wrong in this country? It is disheartening to observe that someone who has been parading a pyrrhic victory is busy running helter skelter to cover up the track of the electoral malpractices that secured the dubious and controversial victory for him.
This Governor Adeleke's plight should be a case study for the people of this country to unearth the copious electoral malpractices which secured the controversial governorship election victory for him that would soon land him in the election tribunal.
e-SIGNED:
Mogaji KOLA OLABISI,
Osun State APC Director of Media and Information.
Today, dignitaries joined the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, as he was honoured as Blueprint Newspaper Person of the Year at the 8th Edition of the Blueprint Newspaper Annual Public Lecture, Impact Series and Awards, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, FCT.
“At the same time, I wish to alert the State Government and security agents to the growing trend of hostility and violence against our members and supporters. The violence attacks on our members witnessed in the build-up to the election has taken another dimension in the last 24 hours. Consequently, I urge the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to intervene and arrest this ugly trend without delay.”
Dear supporters, members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun,
I commend you all for your steadfastness, commitment, sacrifice, and tireless efforts throughout the just-concluded governorship election. Your unwavering support for my candidacy and your belief in the prosperity agenda we presented to the people of Osun are experiences I will forever cherish.
Although, we had hoped for a different outcome in the election, in the meantime, we respect the position of the electoral umpire and I totally support the decision of our party in its ongoing review of the outcome of the election. Consequently, I appreciate the many people who believed in and supported the alternative vision we articulated. I am deeply grateful to every voter who placed their trust in our vision, to the volunteers who gave their time and energy, and to you committed party members and leaders across the state who turned out to energize our campaign.
However, the campaign has come to an end and the election is over, but the values and causes we championed are alive. We would continue to work for effective, inclusive and rapid development of our dear Osun. I urge all of you who stood by our party and campaign to keep working for our community, to stay engaged, to continue to organize and to remain vigilant for the collective good of our state.
As events unfold, I urge all of you to remain calm and peaceful as you go about your daily activities in the post-election period. At the same time, I wish to alert the State Government and security agents to the growing trend of hostility and violence against our members and supporters. The violence attacks on our members witnessed in the build-up to the election has taken another dimension in the last 24 hours. Consequently, I urge the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to intervene and arrest this ugly trend without delay.
Once again, I thank every voter, supporter, party member and leader for your unwavering commitment, sacrifice, and support. I remain proud of the campaign we ran and grateful for the confidence you reposed in me.

INVITATION TO THE GRAND FINALE OF THE APC OSUN STATE GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN RALLY
The All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of our National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, cordially invites Party leaders, members, supporters and all stakeholders to the GRAND FINALE of the APC Osun State Governorship Campaign, scheduled as follows:
DATE: Thursday, 13th August 2026
VENUE: Freedom Park, Osogbo
TIME: 11:00 a.m.
ANNOUNCER:
The National Media & Publicity Sub-Committee for the APC Osun State Governorship Election, under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State.
Today, at the @ARISEtv Townhall, I discussed my plan and path for Osun, what I will do differently, how we will manage our resources, and how the present administration has continued to waste resources that should be working for our people.
I also spoke about the unequal distribution of our resources. Under my administration, no part of Osun will be treated as less important. Every local government, every community and every citizen will have a fair share of government’s attention and resources.
I also used the opportunity to clear the air on the issue of Federal Might. I restated that I have toured all the Local Governments and Area Offices in Osun three times. This is a testament to the hard work, grassroots engagement and direct connection with our people that have defined this campaign.
Our victory on Saturday will not be accidental. It will be the result of the resolve of our people, the strength of our grassroots network and our collective determination to end maladministration and restore responsible leadership in Osun.
We have done the work. We have met our people. We have listened to them.
Now, together, we are ready to take Osun forward.
I am deeply honoured by the decision of members of the PDP in Osun State, led by former Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, to endorse my candidacy for Governor of Osun State.
This endorsement is more than political support; it is a reflection of a shared conviction that Osun deserves a new direction, one founded on justice, fairness, inclusion and development that reaches every part of our state.
Osun must move beyond one-sided politics and uneven development. Government must belong to everyone, regardless of political affiliation, senatorial district, religion or community. Every citizen deserves to feel the impact of government and every part of Osun deserves a fair opportunity to grow.
I welcome this support with humility and a deep sense of responsibility. Together, we can end the politics of division and build an Osun where justice is upheld, opportunities are created and development is felt across the board.
The time for a new direction is now.
Together, we will rebuild Osun and give our people the government they truly deserve.
President Tinubu is fully behind AMBO, and with this endorsement, the path to victory on 15/08/26 is clearer than ever. Osun will vote for the candidate backed by the President, the candidate with experience, competence, and compassion. Osun will vote for AMBO.
