A stunning admission from a longtime ABC News correspondent: Terry Moran says his former network was liberal — and its newsroom bubble made covering President Trump a problem.
“Nobody had voted for him,” Moran said in a recent podcast appearance, arguing that a lack of political viewpoint diversity shaped the network’s Trump coverage. He even recalled sending internal emails urging colleagues to give Trump a fair shake.
ABC News let Moran go in June 2025 after declining to renew his contract following a now-deleted social post where he criticized President Trump and Stephen Miller.
