You can't out-strategize a subconscious block.
No framework, course, or tactic works when the 11-year-old version of you is still running the show.
Fix the inside. The outside follows.
There's a version of you who doesn't need a morning routine to get out of bed...
Doesn't need a habit tracker to do the work, and doesn't negotiate with themselves about whether they're showing up today.
That version of you is the strategy.
Everything else is just hoping the tactics work on someone who isn't ready to receive them.
Here's what nobody tells you about consistency.
The person who struggles to show up and the person who shows up effortlessly are running the same playbook.
Same tactics. Same calendar. Same to-do list.
The difference is that one of them is still operating from an identity that believes it needs to be forced, managed, and negotiated with.
The other one has already decided who they are.
You don't have a discipline problem.
You have an identity problem.
Every time you say "I'm trying to be more consistent" you're reinforcing the version of you that isn't consistent yet. You're telling your brain this is aspirational, something you're reaching for...rather than something you already are.
The shift happens when you stop asking "how do I get myself to do this" and start asking... "who would I need to be for this to feel effortless."
And then you act from that answer.
@AlexHormozi Unfortunately, our unconscious doesn't understand this logic.
We are conditioned to care about other people's opinion. Which is why it takes much more than logic to do this. But it's possible.
@Thereallauster Thank you. BTW, you know what's even more fascinating. I start smoking again when I visit my home town. There are too many anchors and past memories.
Which if I don't clear, will keep pulling me in old habit patterns.
Best hyper fixation: Reading hundreds of books to learn how to clear my unconscious blocks & creating my own repeatable process.
I wouldn't say worse, but I'm currently hyperfixated at learning pen finger pass. I'm doing it like even while I am half asleep.
I watched Limitless a few weeks ago, Bradley Cooper looked really cool doing, so I got hyperfixated lol.
