@GroundedBears And I have my minor issues with S3's dub in particular, I think overall its probably the version im gonna choose on rewatch. My complaints really only exist because I watched the sub first though, like finding the casting for certain characters strange, Hakari, Toji, Naoya, etc.

@GroundedBears I genuinely can't stand that sub elitism is a thing in current year. Actually embarrassing seeing someone shit on something someone likes because its just different from their own experience. I love both versions of this show, and while I do think the sub is a more consistent-

@DevinColson @VIZMedia @KaijiTang It's worded differently in the dub sadly. When asked at the beginning of the series if he'd lose, he just flippantly goes "I would win".
Though I wouldn't be surprised if they went ahead and had him say the manga accurate version anyway for the sake of how iconic it is now.
