Me *describing all the alarming symptoms of bipolar I've experienced*
My mum "oh we all get like that from time to time, I know I certainly do"
Me π€¦π»ββοΈ yes mum, I know you do...how have you never considered it a problem?!
Having a bit of a tough time with feeding. My supply still hasn't caught up with his need so we are still topping up with formula - which, combined with breast feeding and pumping, x8 per day, is pretty exhausting.
I've been quite weepy and down about it.
@trewvs Yes! They met briefly in hospital but it's more special to all be home together as a family π₯° he's such an amazing big brother already, I'm melting watching them both together β€οΈ
I have a feeling today is going to be a good day. My milk is coming in, and baby has fed really well the last 12hours - nurses are confident he will be able to join me on the ward today!!! π₯° fingers crossed the Drs agree at ward round
Determined to be a side sleeper it seems!
Really good ward round this morning. So close to being discharged from SCBU. Alas need to demonstrate a few more good feeds though and he is just so sleepy right now so the lunchtime one wasn't the best. π€ for 4pm feed.
He's here! And he's just perfect. Birth was intense, especially the last hour, but I was so well supported in it π₯° I feel well and like this has been the healing experience I hoped for β€οΈ
@trewvs Hey. Yes everything is OK π₯° he's here and although in SCBU because he was early he's doing really well! Labour was tough but I felt very well supported and ultimately feel it was a healing experience.
Raised emergency ticket with insurance adjusters yesterday morning re no hot water, gas or usable kitchen sink. I've rung twice again today and still nothing from them. I'm so upset that we've been left in this situation
π’ we've moved home to no gas, no hot water, no usable kitchen sink (leaks if you turn water on) and a myriad of snagging and other issues with the kitchen - including mismatching worktops covered in chips and badly fitted.
I'm so so sad π
I'm absolutely heart broken. I trusted them and they've taken all my choice and control away in the space of an hour. I'm now staring down the barrel of the same birth I had 5 years ago and I'm terrified π₯
I reallt don't want to be unwell again, I wanted this to be different.
I've not updated on my big pregnancy appt - mainly as I've been too upset since to talk about it.
The scan went well, blood flow all good, placenta plenty clear of cervix now and baby on 50th centile for growth.
But the consultant appt afterwards was an absolute car crash π« π’
Apparently this means I will need IV antibiotics during labour - so I HAVE to give birth in the hospital.
They also want to continuously monitor baby so they want me strapped to a bed with the monitor on...no water, no freedom to move. They also want to induce me at 39 weeks.
