It's nice to have @adidas back onside, and the promo video was pretty cool. Loads of nostalgic touches, but the gears isn't *wowing*.
The home top is good and some of the touches are nice, but people are going overboard for it.
The training kits especially bemuse me. 🤷♂️
The only thing that comes close to how incredibly bad those years were; is STILL having to explain how bad it was, and defend our collective distaste for this parasite.
Mike Ashley's lawyer in court has said #NUFC fans dislike of him is 'overstated'
Before I start, the most damning fact.
14 yrs preAshley: 8x top8 (5x top4) Relegated never
14 yrs postAshley: 1x top8 (0x top4) Relegated TWICE
15 OTHER REASONS IT ISN'T OVERSTATED:
1. Renaming our historic stadium for his own profit
2. Banning club legends from the ground
3. Renaming 'Shearers bar' and removing his statue
4. Hounding out Kevin Keegan
5. Not supporting a cancer-ridden Gutierrez
6. Investing the bare minimum
7. Exploiting 0 hours contracts for the lowest paid
8. ASDA paddling pools & bins for players to recover
9. Hiring Joe Kinnear (RIP)....TWICE
10. Letting Benitez go
11. Now suing the club!
12. Ghosting Shearer about job after 08' relegation
13. Failing to invest after 5th placed finish (just Anita!?)
14. Giving Alan Pardew an 8 (EIGHT) year contract
15. The sale of strawberry place
I think the 'dislike' is not overstated.

Sven Botman will undergo surgery next week after suffering a knee injury against Manchester City.
A scan has confirmed that he sustained an injury to his ACL and he is expected to return within 6-9 months.
We wish you a full and speedy recovery, Sven ❤️
We get it, talkSHITE... These two are your mates.
One big bag of mince talking garbage, whilst proving the point that the other bag of mince had no interest in running a football club as anything other than a giant advert hoarding.
As much as I admire him as a footballer, because the lad is undoubtedly talented. He reminds me Benoît Assou-Ekotto talking about being basically a mercenary for the pay... I invite gifs and footage to prove that comment wrong.
No concern. If he wants to be a world beater. Go out there, week in week out and do so. Not just the weeks he fancies.
I much preferred when footballers didn't have publicity and social media teams. It's fucking tiresome. It's not believable.
In summary. Can we all just chill out.
Yeah, the season hasn't gone how we'd have hoped. And yeah, we've little to play for now - except pride, reputation, and the outside chance of Europe again... But maybe, just maybe, that's enough. For now.
This year has been tough. The hardest Champions League group, and difficult draws in the domestic Cups. We want to complete, so here we are. At the upper table. It'll be fucking hard.
Not to mention injury issues. Which, in this idiots eyes, have been the true lasting legacy of the M*ke A*hley era. Because as we all know the training facilities were left to rack and ruin by that fat cunt.
I don't want to negate or segregate new fan, but I will, and say... Where were you for ALL the three round exits, the pompous fucking pundit cunts were there, I can tell you that. So were the reminded us of our "place".
Can we, without over-reacting, please remember the absolute slog it was to get to the last FA Cup Quarter Final. Please!
Overcoming the mighty Rochdale (replay), Oxford (replay + aet), and West Brom. Only to lose to the lowly Man City.
