@DrChaeEd The EAs at my job make between $75-90K and they all have a degree. Their influence and execution skills have to complement the strategic mindset of their bosses. It's not just answering phones and scheduling meetings lol
I don’t see how you can read the @nhannahjones article and not be moved to tears/action at the reminder of the fact the majority of our children are in public schools that don’t allow their potential to flourish and instead seem to do the opposite.
It's a struggle trying to balance parenting and your core values with the realities of being Black in America. We chose private preschool before public kindergarten. The difference in expectations, even at such a young age, has been eye opening

They are never going to give you $9,000 to stay home with your kids. Just like you never got your DOGE check, tariff refund, cheaper groceries, $2 gas, a healthcare plan, or 600% off prescriptions.
