@ScoutTom_ The difference between us and the likes of Bournemouth and Brentford is that they have quick attacking wingers on both sides.. we are reliant on N'Diaye only and have had the likes of slow McNeil on the wing or Rohl (CM).. even Grealish is not quick although good technically.

@thomas368749624 @MeDoyle88 That's an option yeah..not sure Moyes will agree. Sounds too adventurous and not defensive enough. May be a good option against weaker teams. But if we are playing a top team with physical midfielders I think we'd want someone more physical in there.

@mickmcSNB Should add if that then allowed the profit of 30/40 mill to be added to our transfer kitty to sort out the weaknesses in our squad which need sorting.

@mickmcSNB I'd consider anything upwards of 40 mill only IF we had a younger decent keeper lined up for say 10 million.. I'm not convinced he'll age as well as other keepers. Big keepers can still command their box at 40. JP's strengths e.g. reflexes/ agility will decline more with age.

@TheDanMox Errrrr for financial reasons to save money?! 🤔🤯 Maybe we want him but aren't sure he's actually worth 25 million based on last season. Save money and use saving towards another signing. There is a risk that we fail to secure the signing though by looking to reduce the fee.
