This team is fucking torture with and without men on base. Just start selling please. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Not a single person on this god awful team can get the big hit. Absolutely terrible. Runners on base all series and cant buy a hit. End the season today for the love of god. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Wasted a great performance from Thornton because this teams approach at the plate is awful. Even when the pitching shows up the bats never do. Just like when they lost 12 in a row earlier in the season, this team feels like they'll never win another game. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

From listenining to Andy Green's press conference it sounds like he decided to step up as manager when he was told the Mets had no plans to move on from Mendoza this year. Him stepping up most likely led to Mendoza's firing. Hope it works out. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

This might be the worst baseball team the Mets have ever put on the field. I dont give a fuck about wins and losses. By the eye test this team is complete garbage. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

DID THEY PUT GREASE ON THESE FUCKING BALLS TODAY OR WHAT THE FUCK ARE THE METS DOING??? #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

I'm so fucking done with Freddy Peralta. An even bigger disappointment than Bichette at this point. Trade his ass tonight. Call up the youngins. Season is over anyway. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Awful game. Had to win yesterday. Safe to say this road trip will be a disaster.

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Why in the FUCK is AJ Minter stepping off TWICE and gifting 3rd base to Arozarena??? If he's on 2nd that base hit means nothing and you have a chance at a double play. Just completely threw the game by disengaging twice. THROW THE PITCH #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Can anyone explain to me why Tobias Myers went from throwing 3-4 innings to a one and done guy?? He was in the conversation for a starting spot before the season started #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Some shaky performances in the minors from Tong recently but hopefully he can figure it out. Excited to see him back up. Let the kids play. #babymets #mets #lgm

[New York Mets @Mets]

We have made the following roster moves.

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Devin Williams has been incredible and isnt getting nearly enough credit. Huge composure to get out of that after the Ewing dropped ball. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Everyone complaining about how we don't have a better backup catcher than Hayden Senger forgets this is the same team that doesn't have a real first baseman on the team. At least Senger plays the position 🥲 Not everyone from the minors is going to be great. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Benge
Lindor
Bichette
Soto
Vientos

Soto needs a power threat behind him to keep teams from pitching around him and this lineup has a very good chance of having runners on base when Soto and Vientos come to the plate. Let the kids do damage at the bottom of the line. #mets #lgm

[Master Flip | Phillip Feliz 🇩🇴 @Masterflip_]

What’s your 1-5 when Lindor returns?

I’d go;

Benge
Lindor
Soto
Bichette
Ewing

#lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

@Masterflip_ Thought the same after the Morabito call up but Semien is a guy who prides himself on playing every day. Would be a tough pill to swallow for him.

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Don't think its a coincidence the top of the lineup is starting to heat up since Mendoza has kept the top 3 the same for a while now. Really didn't like all the shuffling around at the top of the order. Leave Benge, Bichette, and Soto exactly where they are. #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Interested to see what the Mets plan to with the leadoff spot when Lindor comes back if Benge continues to develop and stays on this heater he has been on. I would hate to drop Benge in the lineup and ruin the flow he is clearly in right now but Lindor is still Lindor #mets #lgm

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

Really hope he's great and the #mets get it done for him today. #lgm

[SNY Mets @SNY_Mets]

Zach Thornton's father will be in attendance tonight for his son's MLB debut

Here is Paul Thornton's inspiring story ❤️

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

After such an amazing start the #mets have completely fallen apart. We needed Mclean to be the stopper to keep the heater going and he has had nothing today. Really unfortunate.

[Ant @AntTalksSports]

He makes his fair share of mistakes but Vientos has been all we can ask for at first base when you have no first basemen on the team. With his bat heating up again we could see a return of 2024 Vientos the more comfortable he gets. #Mets #LGM

Check this comparison out!

In the bottom of the 9th, the Yankees had the chance to turn 2 on Soto. Ben Rice kinda lobs the ball over to Volpe, allowing Soto to avoid the double play

In contrast, Vientos threw a f'n ROCKET to Bichette

Look at the difference! RUN PREVENTION!
