❌ Darren: “I wouldn’t have a problem with Brighton or Brentford in the #UCL.”
👀 Andy: “Oh I think you would? You wouldn’t rush back to watch them…”
Darren Bent & Andy Goldstein clash over the prospect of Brentford & Brighton in the Champions League next season
A very special delivery for David Attenborough, beloved by people (and animals) everywhere 💚
To honour Sir David’s 100th birthday, His Majesty The King is supported by a cast of stars from British nature to relay his handwritten message in time for the celebration at the Royal Albert Hall.

Fabian Hürzeler has signed a new long term contract at Brighton. And the most revealing part of that is not eventhat he stayed. It is that Brighton built an environment where staying was the obvious choice.
Leverkusen wanted him and the reports were persistent. A club with Champions League football, German prestige and serious resources.
Hürzeler, 32, the youngest head coach in Premier League history, looked at that offer and chose a project on the south coast of England instead. That is not simply a small decision. It is more a statement about what Brighton have built and what it can challenge.
When Brighton recruit a manager, the criteria are strict: philosophical alignment with the existing style of play, willingness to trust young players, and receptivity to data.
The system is the constant while the coach is the conductor. By committing to managers who fit the system rather than demanding the squad be rebuilt around them, the transition between coaching regimes is virtually seamless.
Potter left for Chelsea and De Zerbi left for Marseille. Each time, Brighton reached into their process and produced someone who not only maintained continuity but extended it.
Owner Tony Bloom's data analytics operation, Star Lizard, provides the club with player recruitment intelligence through a closely guarded algorithm known to only a handful of employees.
That same forensic approach applies to coaching appointments. Brighton identified Hürzeler through data-led analysis before contacting St Pauli to open negotiations. They planned.
Most ambitious young coaches treat their current club as a launchpad. Hürzeler is treating Brighton as a destination. That tells you everything about what Tony Bloom has built. It is massive and I think Brighton deserves a lot more respect tham we are giving them.

🚨🔵⚪️ Fabian Hürzeler has signed a new contract at Brighton to stay as head coach for long term project.
Agreement sealed and terms in place, as Hürzeler was never close to Bayer 04 job and focused on #BHAFC plans.
Official statement next, as @plettigoal@skysportde report.
@PippaCrerar@rowenamason Tremendous idea on how to fix potholes. Thank you for reporting as other councils will hopefully take it up. Our roads are very poor.
Urgh, I’m definitely staying offline tonight. I already know what our fans are going to be like. There will be those claiming Fabian is a fraud and that we’ve lost our chance with Europe.
Just don’t need the negativity right now. I still believe we will do it #bhafc
BRITAIN FROM ABOVE
It wasn’t just the RAF who carried out test aerial photography over the UK as part of training, the Germans had an interest in what was going on here as well. This image was taken in 1943 by the Luftwaffe, but where does it show?
