Jalil Akhtar from Uttar Dinajpur faced two attempted deportation despite holding ancestral documents. On the first attempt, he along with six others were taken blindfolded to a border area at midnight....

While the six others were pushed across, he was not as he pleaded to the BSF to not send him. The BSF verified that he was Indian, despite this the Dalkhola Police allegedly continued to pressurise him to say that he is a Bangladeshi.
