DO YOU REMEMBER THE DEEPTI DEVASTHALI CASE? She is now set to walk out free.
#DeeptiDevasthali , a former medical student, was convicted of murdering and dismembering orthopaedic surgeon Deepak Mahajan for ransom in 2006. She and her mother, Leena Devasthali, allegedly disguised themselves as the popular TV character ‘Jassi’ while carrying out the crime.
In December 2007, a Pune court sentenced Deepti and her mother to death for abduction and murder. However, in 2009, the Bombay High Court acquitted them of murder but upheld their convictions for kidnapping for ransom, criminal conspiracy and other charges, commuting their death sentences to life imprisonment.
Deepti is now reportedly set to walk out of Yerwada Central Jail in Pune after serving nearly two decades in prison.
Bombay High Court orders setting aside the state government’s decision requiring her to serve 30 years in prison before qualifying for premature release.

Recently, a shocking incident came to light in Punjab, one that many of you may not have heard about.
A 16-year-old girl allegedly hired goons to brutally torture her 19-year-old ex-boyfriend, resulting in his death.
According to reports, 19-year-old Tejinder Singh had discovered that the girl was involved with several boys, following which he decided to end their relationship. Angered by the breakup, the girl allegedly took this horrific step.
He was attacked on September 18 and died while on ventilator support on September 29, according to his family.
According to Tejinder's family, he had been in a relationship with the girl for around three years.
His mother Narinder said the family had initially opposed the relationship and had advised her son to stay away from the girl.
The family claims that around three months before the incident, Tejinder came to know that the girl was also allegedly in contact with other youths. Following this, he decided to end the relationship and began keeping his distance from her.
According to his family, the girl was unhappy with his decision to end the relationship.
According to Tejinder's sister, the girl allegedly called him to meet her at Bhusa village on September 18. The family claims that several youths were present at the location when Tejinder arrived and that they attacked him.
The police detained the minor on September 23 in connection with the case. According to Tejinder's family, the girl told the police during questioning that she had paid the youths to break his hands and legs, but had not instructed them to kill him or strike him on the head.
And this is not the first incident of its kind.
Several other cases have also come to light in which girls have allegedly attacked boys because they were unable to handle rejection.
One thing everyone needs to understand is that violence has no gender. We cannot put all the blame on one gender while ignoring the actions of individuals from the other.

We’ve all seen how strongly women can stand together.
But what I didn’t expect was seeing women defend a female murderer to THIS extent.
You’ve probably heard about #LindsayClancy , who was accused of killing her three young children in her own home.
What’s even more disturbing is the support she has received, with some arguing that she shouldn’t be punished because of her mental health and trauma.
And yet, when the accused is a man, society often rushes to condemn him, even before the full truth is known.
So here’s the real question:
Can trauma or mental health explain a murder without also holding the person accountable for it?
Compassion matters.
But should accountability disappear because the criminal is a woman?

A Woman blocks road in Jaipur, films argument with a driver while an #ambulance waits behind her with sirens on; sparking massive outrage
What kind of entitlement is this?#formenindia
The woman was living separately from her husband and was allegedly staying with her boyfriend. According to the allegations, she would trap young men through social media and extort money from them.
Recently, she and her boyfriend allegedly assaulted an AC mechanic, stripped him, recorded a nude video of him and demanded ₹20 lakh from him.
And it didn’t stop there. They allegedly circulated the victim’s nude video online as well.
But when the police arrested the woman, she was seen smiling.
Why?
Perhaps because she believed she would get bail easily.
And this raises a serious question: If the law is meant to protect victims and punish criminals, why should anyone feel confident enough to commit such a crime without fear of consequences?
Crime has no gender. A criminal is a criminal, whether a man or a woman.
If we genuinely want a safer society, the law must be gender-neutral, and the consequences must depend on the crime, not the gender of the accused.
Because justice should not be about who you are, it should be about what you did.

If women do not “belong” to their fathers, husbands, brothers, or sons, then why do they remain dependent on their fathers for education and marriage?
Why do they depend on their husbands for marriage-related responsibilities and raising children?
Even after divorce, alimony, and child custody, why do they remain dependent on their former husbands for child maintenance?
Why do they tie a rakhi on their brothers’ wrists on Raksha Bandhan and expect protection and gifts from them?
Why do they often depend on their sons for support in old age?
And whenever they face a crisis, why do they turn to men for their safety and protection?
So, Rahul ji, please think carefully before making such statements, because your statement is hypocritical.
Now, let’s look at another clip.
The man who tried to help this woman was slapped by her. She is proudly narrating the incident on stage, while the audience is cheering for her.
So, my message to all men is this: the next time you think about helping a woman, think a hundred times before doing so.
You never know, you might end up being assaulted for trying to help, or worse, get trapped in a false case.

A female tourist got involved in a heated exchange with security personnel at a checkpoint in Ladakh. A video of her protesting against the road closure has gone viral online, in which she was seen angrily questioning army personnel about the prolonged traffic delay and asking why tourists were being stopped.
According to reports tourists had been stuck for hours because of traffic regulation and security-related restrictions.
The road at the Minimarg check post in Ladakh was temporarily blocked due to routine security protocols and high-priority military convoy movements in this sensitive border region.
Such controls are not unusual in Ladakh, particularly along routes close to sensitive border areas, where movement may be regulated depending on operational and security requirements.
In another video going viral, the woman is also seen threatening to take this matter to the parliament.
The incident has since prompted strong reactions on social media. People have criticised the tourist’s manner of confronting security personnel.
Security forces can impose road restrictions for operational and safety reasons, particularly in sensitive areas, and the reason for the closure was not independently established from the footage.
Her remarks have since triggered strong reactions online, with viewers divided over whether the outburst reflected understandable frustration or inappropriate behaviour at a strategically sensitive location.

A man has shared a story about an argument with his former girlfriend that ended with an unexpected Rs 21,000 bill.
The story was shared by X user Ankit Pandey, who wrote, “I once paid Rs 21,000 because my girlfriend wanted to prove a point about feminism.”
Pandey said the two had met in college. After graduation, he said his girlfriend joined JP Morgan and became more vocal about feminism, with their conversations often turning into debates about gender roles.
He explained, “After graduation, she joined JPMorgan and became very vocal about feminism. Almost everything somehow turned into a debate about what women can and cannot do.”
According to Pandey, one such discussion took place during a drive through heavy traffic. He recalled, “One day, we were driving through heavy traffic when she said: ‘I’ll drive. Don’t think women can’t drive in traffic.’ I gave her the keys. She drove for a while. Then she hit a BMW. The owner asked for Rs 21,000.”
Pandey said he was ultimately the one who paid the BMW owner.
As the post circulated, several users focused on the fact that Pandey said he paid the bill even though his girlfriend was driving.
A user pointed out, “Probably should have split it and she should have offered at least. Not sure if she did or not. But that would have been the right thing to do.”
One user wrote, “The irony is hilarious the feminism debate ended with you paying the BMW bill.

A father's final conversation with his young son has left countless people emotional after a video captured him sharing one last message before losing his battle with terminal cancer.
The video was shared by a user on X.
Preparing his son for a future without him, the father said, "Mantra, if I go somewhere, do what your mom says. Take care of your mom. Don't ask where Papa is. Take care of both your sisters. Whenever you remember me, I'll be around you."
In his final words, the father lovingly asked his son to always listen to his mother, look after her, and protect his two sisters. Rather than telling the child he was dying, he gently said that if he ever "went somewhere," Mantra should not ask where he had gone.
He also reassured his son that whenever he missed him, he would always be around in spirit.
After the video went viral, many viewers admitted they struggled to watch the video without tears.

When men stand up to protect women, it rarely makes headlines.
At Jantar Mantar, Delhi, male protesters were seen protecting female protesters and ensuring their safety during the demonstration. This is what true solidarity looks like; not hatred between genders, but standing together when it matters.
We often hear about the need to protect women, but moments like this remind us that many men are already doing exactly that; without expecting applause or recognition.

Krishna Kumar ended his life on 18th December 2024 after facing continuous mental harassment from his fiancee and her mother, especially after Krishna got to know about her infidelity.
Krishna's family had been running post to pillar but initially police were not registering the FIR.
Krishna's brother Ghanendra Singh then approached For Men India for assistance after which we released several videos tagging the higher authorities urging them to register an FIR immediately.
The police did register an FIR but called Krishna's fiancee just twice to the police station for questioning but later refused to question her any further in order to avoid any kind of mental harassment to her & didn't take any action based on the evidence in his phone, as claimed by his family.
Even after approaching the higher authorities, police didn't investigate the case properly & gave a closure report to the family, as claimed.
Now, the family is seeking to reopen the case and demanding justice.
