@soulrambler_ Reason could be that when Vedic ideology was competing with Jainism and Buddhism, scholars had to debate the king’s chief philosopher. Winning meant the king and his subjects would adopt your beliefs. This is likely the sole reason "New Hinduism" adapted Jain and Buddhist ideas
