@howie_hua Set expectations every single day. 7th grade. If you don't have routines and procedures on lock it's gonna be messy. Well I should say messier, bc 7th grade is naturally messy lol.

@peckmaths @howie_hua I've only been a teacher a couple years but before that was a sub. Always sat behind kids to see those screens when I wasn't moving around. We have Hapara to check screens also. I love it. I use both a desktop and a small chromebook sometimes at the same time when roaming

@LatimerRob @howie_hua Also, I'm doing summer school and they can have them. They abuse im allowed to take. I took three yesterday/Friday. Gave them back end of our session. Next time they lose them for the summer, two weeks left. It's amazing.

@LatimerRob @howie_hua I work in a small rural district. No phone other than in lockers, middle school. If they bring them in class they get picked up by admin. Never happened even once. There were a couple sneaking but I just emailed the principal and they got them later.
