@smerconish to say we didn’t have to check Iran right now is the equivalent of saying we don’t have to take out the trash at our house. True enough, but each day passes with grater consequence.
@smerconish to pretend that either party is going to bring about massive economic change is irresponsible - the titanic turns slowly. We as voters had better be doing more homework than voting based on hearing politicians railing about the other side.
@Chandler_Rome Hear me out, open with Hader/ Abreu or vice versa, get some runs on the board, then decide from there. Might give you the option of finishing with Imai if we can get 5+ on the board in the first 3 innings. No issue with those guys going again on Tues.
@ApolloDez1 Imagine a tradin a #3 starter, a rookie who hits the ball as hard as anyone on the planet, and an all star 3rd baseman who has 25-30 bombs and 100 RBI for a .225 hitting right fielder? Oh yeah, that actually happened lol. You wouldn’t even trade Paredes for Tucker at this point.
@SanAntonioTim I dunno, I place more value on production over time - much harder to sustain. I’ll take Dubie’s actual production vs Allen’s projected. Also, Allen’s lack of versatility means no chance of actually finding out if your theory holds. He’s not getting on the infield, we’re set there
@SanAntonioTim I have Dubie at 2.6 and Allen at 1 - but that aside, considering the Astros roster composition and Dubie’s versatility, we’re not comparing him to just Allen. We’re also comparing him to Pick-a- Numbnut who’s roamed our outfield this season.
