A new EF4 damage point was added to Enid. 16-18 DBH tree thrown at least 40 ft. This particular degree of damage was added to the revised EF scale, and since this tree was rated EF4, it could suggest winds up to 180 mph based on the “Single Tree” DI in the revised EF scale.
Sulphur - the USGS gage at Rock Creek just below downtown has risen 7 feet in the last 3 hours. Streamflow has increased from about 9 cubic feet per second to 3700. Rock Creek flows directly through town - please be careful if traveling near it, especially in the dark! #okwx

Overnight storms brought heavy rain, damaging winds, & large hail to parts of Oklahoma. Baseball size hail was reported in southwest OKC in the early morning hours on Sunday.
