We sell thermal coal to keep India’s and China’s power stations running.
We sell coking coal to make their steel.
We sell uranium to fuel their reactors.
At home we get soaring bills, dying baseload, and steel on life support.
Paris and Net Zero: too dirty to burn here, fine to export.
Nuclear: “unsafe” for us, proven overseas. We have the resources. Stop shipping the advantage away.
This month, we surpassed 120,000 supporters calling for the nuclear bans to be lifted in Australia.
Momentum for policy change is growing, thanks to your support.

Advanced nuclear reactors finally exist.
This microreactor from Aalo Atomics achieved criticality. They're one of six startups to recently reach the milestone.
Many of these startups plan to have factories manufacturing reactors to power data centres and remote communities by the end of the decade.
Australia will miss out on new nuclear technology if we don't lift our nuclear power prohibitions.

To the barricades.
I thought it was a gee-up, but the draft legislation actually refers to “sock puppets” and allows eSafety Karen to create these “false or fictitious identities” to generate any type of “material” (propaganda) — “without limitation” — using “artificial intelligence.”
Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.
But it’s there in black and white. Look for yourself …

This proposed legislation empowers eSafety Karen to create an unlimited number of fake accounts using artificial intelligence to “generate material” — that is: anything the government wants to push.
Australians need to rise up. Civil disobedience might even be needed to stop such laws.
This cannot be allowed to pass Parliament.
If you were ever going to take a stand against a proposed law - this is it.
Kevin Rudd receives $218,000 per year via his Taxpayer funded pension while earning $780,000 as the CEO of the Asia Society.
Here's the kick in the guts. If an aged pensioner does a few days work, they are punished, and have a percentage of their pension cut. Not Rudd. Not the politicians.
And why are they getting a massive pension anyway? They should receive a custodial sentence for the damage they've done.
Queensland engineer Bobby Gallagher has built a transportable 1 MW nuclear microreactor in the United States that reached criticality at Idaho National Laboratory on 30 June, just 150 days after the project began. His Unity Nuclear Battery is designed for five-year refuelling cycles and can be transported using conventional freight equipment.
Australia bans commercial nuclear power before the technology even reaches the approvals table. Federal law prevents the Environment Minister and radiation regulator from approving nuclear power plants, including technologies such as microreactors. Senator Matt Canavan introduced legislation in February to
"There's no private investment in nuclear anywhere" says Australia's Assistant Climate/Energy Minister.
Its alarming the Assistant Minister isn't aware of the billions being invested by major tech companies including Meta, Microsoft and Google or private utilities around the world.
Australia's ideological nuclear bans close the door to private investment. We already have nuclear regulators in Australia, including ANNPSR, that the government just created for the nuclear submarines.
The nuclear industry is growing around the world with around 60 countries either adding or exploring adding nuclear to their energy mix.
Our politicians aren't informed and are ignoring nuclear at our peril.
10GW = 10 Large Nuclear Power Plants.
That's how much energy the Government's reported data centre deals would require at full utilisation, yet they won't consider nuclear.
Why restrict a proven clean energy option that prevents these companies from drawing on our already constrained grid?
South Australian Labor Premier Peter Malinauskus says "nuclear power has an important role to play globally" yet is uneconomic in Australia.
So why not lift the ban to settle the question?
Why does it stack up for the 38 countries pledged to triple nuclear by 2050, but just not us?
🇬🇧 Absolutely crazy!

"Was he racially abusive?" they ask
"Yes he was. No there were no weapons involved”
An engineer built a motorcycle with spherical wheels that can balance sideways like a Segway and move in every direction.
Looks incredibly strange, but now I want to try it 😂
