They should use that on hot staging to prevent damage to the ships engines. Pulse the engines on the ship wait 5-10 seconds or so, and then light them up again. No definitely needs to be more separation before you like those raptor engine in such an enclosed area. That is why they keep losing ships and engines on the ship.

@SpaceX I don't think a full bomb-like detonation right in the engine bay is "OK" for the engines! Try ONE ENGINE on the booster and two on the ship for the flip but push the booster top up NOT down. You are welcome. 😳🤔
