2027 PRESIDENTIAL ANALYSIS: My analysis: Part 1.
1979 Presidential election vs 2027 Presidential election:
1: 1979 General election outcomes will not happen in 2027 because the other Southern candidates in 2027 are not as solid as Obafemi Awolowo and Nnamdi Azikiwe of 1979 then.
2: Analysis:
-(a): The Military was a “distinct political party factor“ as demonstrated by SMC then to aid the victory of the then NPN.
-(b): SMC (Supreme Military Council) is the FEC of today in 2026
3: Before you will comment on 1979 Presidential election, first understand the dynamics of that election.
-(a): Read widely before you exhibit illiteracy.
4: History:
-(a): Presidential election was held in Nigeria for the first time on August 11, 1979
5: Results: Total Registered Voters: 48,633,782.
-(a): Total Votes cast: 16,846,533.
-(b): 34.64% Nigerians voted that time.
-(c): 1979: Election commission was known as: FEDECO that is the Federal Electoral Commission.
-(d): Now in 2026, it is called “INEC” Hope you know the full meaning.
6: BREAKDOWN OF THE RESULTS:
-(a): Shehu Shagari of the National Party of Nigeria:- 5,688,867 (33.77%)
-(b): Obafemi Awolowo of the Unity Party of Nigeria:- 4,916,551 (29.18%)
-(c): Nnamdi Azikiwe of the Nigerian People’s Party:- 2,822,523 (16.75%)
-(d): Aminu Kano of the People’s Redemption Party:-1,732,113 (10.28%)
-(e): Waziri Ibrahim of the Great Nigeria People’s Party:- 1,686,489 (10.01%)
7: States won: we have 19 states then:
-(a) Shagari won: Gongola, Bauchi, Benue, Cross River, Kaduna, Kwara, Niger, Rivers, and Sokoto.
-(b): Awolowo won: Bendel, Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo states.
-(c): Azikiwe won: Plateau, Imo,and Anambra states.
-(d): Waziri won: Borno state
-(e): Aminu Kano won: Kano
8: flip it to 2027, no SMC to back any party.
-(a): It is safe to project @officialABAT as the winner of the Presidential election in 2027.
-(b): Embattled @atiku of @ADCNig is not the Shehu Shagari of 1979.

Finally. Direct flights from Nigeria to Brazil as the Basa agreement is signed between both countries. A journey that should take 7 hours takes almost a whole day! A big step towards further collaboration between both countries @officialABAT @fkeyamo
