I was stunned when reporting started coming out about conversations in the White House because in the years I was on the Senate Armed Services Committee and I was Secretary of State, anytime we talked about Iran, any kind of war game scenario that we discussed, among the very first questions was, "What if they close the Strait of Hormuz? What do we do?"

And then from the reporting, it sounded as though that just hadn't been really discussed or at least not brought to the highest levels of the administration.
