Greatly enjoyed the Afternoon Fayre at All Saints Church this afternoonj. Must have been over 200 there, and all stalls doing a roaring trade in Plants, Knitwear and, of course the Raffle. Met so many friends.
Cllrs. Anthony & Rhys have been fighting off the challenge of a massive new mobile phone mast planned for the junction of Dinas Road and Victoria Road, immediately next to several family homes in Lavernock Road. Unfortunately the Vale Council has dismissed our objections,
I have had several distressing stories of Penarth people who have had bad falls in the poorly surfaced car park of Old Pens. Resurfacing is a priority for me post Election 22.
Wales Dark Sky Week - 19-27 Feb 2022
Wales has the highest percentage of protected dark skies in the World & to celebrate, a Wales-wide festival will take place from the 19th Feb.

New GBR will not control Welsh Local Train Services, according to Minister. BUT we do need lower fares and greater reliability across network to encourage greater travel pan-Wales.
It is good to see that my longstanding campaign to stop the removal of heritage lamposts in Penarth, has at last born fruit. For more than 6 years I have prevailed on the Vale not to continue to destroy Penarth's remarkable "Street Scene", which was nearly abandoned.
Good to hear that Penarth Yacht Club sailors are now back on the Bristol Channel waters, after showdown with Vale over slipway access. Please all shout "Hello Sailor" as you pass by the club today on your Limited Access Walk.
